“In spite of the socio-political aberration which black Africa as a whole has been experiencing during the past, it will be agreed by those who have given thought to the matter that a freely-elected parliament is an essential of a civilized, dynamic, free and stable society. It is the only organ in any society, which can claim to comprise the accredited representative of the people and can therefore legitimately make law for and supervise the administration of the affairs of the people. It is also the most effective and acceptable organ which mankind has evolved for the promotion at all time, of what Lincoln pithily described as the government of the people by the people and for the people.

BORIPE state constituency is a reality and a promise. It’s development and increasingly bonding rests upon a solid foundation of political institutions that are being forged out of a common national commitment to unity and faith.
I am seeking election as a member of Osun State House of Assembly. Because it is the time to link the youth of this generation directly with national politics. In the world today, leadership has gone into the hands of the younger generation. Tony Blair became the prime minister of Great Britain at the age of 43. Bill Clinton became the president in his early 40s to mention but a few.]
In this political era, Osun State needs a legislator who will:
? Make law and sponsor a bill that will both reflect and strengthen the unity of Osun State.
? Promote and consolidate the fundamental human right of the people of Osun State.
? Pay particular attention to the right and special interests of women and youths in our fledgling society- the same for our teeming children. Osun State’s hope for a better tomorrow.
? Educate the people on the political situation in the state and to maintain ties with his constituency.
? Considers and approves the state budget prepared by the executive for the betterment and well being of the people.
? Ensure for the citizenry, equality of opportunity and social justice in the state
? Take our state quickly, steadily and safely forward politically and economically.
? Formulate and diligently legitimate a viable industrial and economical policy in the state.
Build a society based on equality, justice and respect for human rights and the rule of law where improved living standards of the people of Osun State remains a right of the people and a sacred responsibility of Government.
These are the primary considerations that motivate me to seek elective office. My candidature for member of House of Assembly is an affirmation of my faith in the constitutional viability and promising economic future and legitimately makes law that will make Boripe state constituency and Osun State in General a paradise.
I believe that the People Democratic Party (PDP) provides the infrastructure upon which public office can be used creatively for the progress of Osun State in particular and Nigeria in general.
My good people of Boripe state constituency, with your support I believe we can together make this sparkling vision a concrete reality.
Therefore, we must elect for ourselves a leader who understands and appreciate the essence and the price of leadership. Without a doubt, Hon. Fabunmi Sunday G. is such a man.
