The peoples Democratic Party (PDP) been the largest party in the continent of Africa, boasts of eminent Nigerians and some of the finest patriots of our country. It is the only party of vision and great promise and this provides suitable conditions for the development of a new brand of leadership that is honest, just and compassionate with unflinching commitment to Nigeria’s cardinal precepts. Unity and faith, peace and progress.
The programme of the PDP embodies policies which when successfully implemented will transform our state (Osun State) and Nigeria’s economic base and significantly improve the live of its citizenry. This is evident in the progressive turn around in past six and ten years respectively.
Economic reforms would achieve little in the absence of a conducive political climate. This informs PDP strive smile 1799, in the face of over whelming odds, to continuously ensure a stable polity for grow on and development. These sterling attributes suitably situate only in a party with a vision and a mission to improve the lot of osun state citizens and Nigerians.
While be multifaceted reforms initiated in the nation’s fiscal and socio-political sectors should be jealously guarded and rigorously sustained there is yet room for meaningful improvement as in any progressive human endeavor. It is my conviction on at further progress in his direction will lead to be desire.
Emergence of a sanitized economic and socio- political edifice embedded in appropriate societal discipline that will guarantee for people of Osun State and Nigerians a stable and prosperous state and nation.
The reforms of PDP also include be enforcement of due process in the award of contracts and the execution of contracts, which is curbing the economic waste arising from corruption and the lack of transparency and accountability in this sector
The Seven (7) point’s agenda of president umaru yar adua is also an achievement of PDP, if the agenda is well implemented.
My commitment in service to this state will be anchored on consolidating these impressive gains of the PDP administration by ensuring continuity in our party’s on-going and clearly articulated reform programme. These aspirations are supremely achievable on the platform of a political party that provides the right conditions for the development of a brand of leadership with an unwavering commitment to serve, without fear or favour the citizens of osun state – the state of living spring. That plat form is indeed the PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP).
